Parkin expands beyond Dubai with new deal for smart parking solutions in Saudi Arabia
Partnership aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance urban mobility
Dubai-based Parkin Company PJSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s BATIC Investment and Logistics Company to explore innovative smart city parking solutions across the Kingdom.
Parkin, the largest provider of paid public parking facilities in Dubai, is joining forces with BATIC’s subsidiary, Smart City Solutions Co. (SCSC), Saudi Arabia’s largest paid public parking provider.
Focus on smart parking
This strategic partnership aims to leverage advanced digital technologies, including AI, real-time data analysis, digital gates, sensors, and smart cameras. These technologies will streamline parking, optimise space utilisation, reduce traffic congestion, and provide a seamless parking experience for customers.
The agreement underlines Parkin’s ambitions to expand its operations internationally and aligns with BATIC’s vision of maintaining market leadership in Saudi Arabia while advancing smart city initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030.
Driving urban mobility
Parkin’s CEO, Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, described the partnership as a milestone in the company’s international growth. He noted that combining Parkin’s operational expertise with BATIC’s local knowledge will lead to scalable, customer-focused solutions benefiting Saudi residents and visitors alike.
BATIC’s CEO, Eng. Mohammed Alzamil, highlighted the benefits of collaborating with the UAE’s leading parking operator, emphasising the improved efficiency and customer experience this partnership will deliver. With a portfolio of 195,000 parking spaces across five Saudi cities, BATIC expects this partnership to drive greater mobility and economic growth.

Under the MoU, Parkin and BATIC will evaluate opportunities to expand paid parking services in Saudi Arabia. This includes potential partnerships with municipalities, real estate developers, shopping centres, hotels, and other venues.
The companies plan to adopt cutting-edge solutions to revolutionise parking management in Saudi Arabia. Real-time data analysis and AI-driven systems will enable dynamic pricing, efficient space allocation, and a smoother customer experience, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to modernise infrastructure and boost urban sustainability.
